Acoustic Research AR-1U Speaker. Serial Number is: 4286 Working condition, plays musically at volume. Tested with a 12 watt tube amp. This beautiful AR-1U, a recent find, is from a climate controlled house… And I believe obtained from the original owner. It was part of a mono stereo system… That Fisher was produced between 1957 and 1958…. And think this AR-1U is from that era also. There is some very very minor defects of a couple of the corners… There are some white paint marks on the surface on one side. I have no tried to clean these off. But they are on the surface… And no damage to cabinet. There is one hole in the grill cloth… But not enough to pull back grill cloth and look at the speaker cones… #1 Since this is was originally an unfinished cabinet…. Or only a varnish….. And check/take photos of the speaker cones… These actions will only be done…. Please send a message to talk about this. This speaker weights 45 pounds. I will pack carefully.
