Really nice pair of classic AR 4x loudspeakers. I’m pretty sure they have never been messed with. One grille is removable, but the other one is still glued on from the factory. The speaker with the grill still attached has to have the pot cleaned for the tweeter. If you know vintage AR’s, you know that this is a very common occurence. I played with the pot, and there is a sweet spot for the tweeter, but it really needs to be opened up and cleaned so that the full range of the control is functional. Both potentiometers should be cleaned however. Considering their age, they are in outstanding condition cosmetically, but there are minor signs of use. One badge is missing, however I would suggest getting 2 reproductions. They sound absolutely fantastic by the way!
