I believe they were made in the early 80’s. I have seen them listed as ” The Holy Grail” of speakers. They are in perfect working condition and sound awesome. All speakers are 100% intact with no foam separation or dry rot. I was running them off a Pioneer Elite VSX-99 Receiver. You need power to push these bad boys. I just got a new pair of Klipsch Towers and really just dont have the room to keep these. 44 inches tall and weigh 122 lbs. I live about 45 minutes from the Orlando, Fl. The only blemishes are the grill cloth has come separated at the top corner but looks to be an easy fix. Also there is a chunk of wood taken off one of the bottom back corners that someone good with wood could fix. It is on the back bottom and really dont notice when up against the wall. The speaker has an open base enclosure at the bottom that could be re-foamed. Once again an easy fix but they sound great to me so never messed with it.
