I LOVE the way these turned out! I love re-finishing vintage stereo equipment, to they’re pure form. But I also love being creative, and using unconventional ways as well. After repairing the few chips 1 speaker had, using my usual wood epoxy method, I sanded both of them thoroughly. Then, I used a propane torch to selected areas, all around both of them. So that is not black paint you’re seeing. Then I used 2 coats of Minwax Polyurethane semi-gloss. Pictures do not do these justice!
