I love these speakers, however I have run into so many great speakers, I need to thin the Hurd. What these speakers do best is Classical, Violins, acoustic guitar, and Strings in General. Nothing I have surpasses them in this area. Nothing I ever heard beats them in this area. They will also reveal any recordings that are poor, But when the recording is great, these are TREMENDOUS sounding. Extremely well balanced, and they just disappear in the room… You just forget the speaker. NO HARSHNESS, just classic open AR sound. These are not party-club speakers, they are meant for critical listening. Cabinets are Not Perfect, Needs a new Grill. Ask for more pictures if interested. The appearance is nothing like the sound they give. These has the Original Drivers, Original 12 inch Alnico Magnet woofer with Cloth surrounds. Cloth surround never rot. I know it has the alnico Magnet, because I went inside to clean the Potentiometers, and They have worked fine since I cleaned them 1 year ago.
