These are the original series speakers (actual items pictured) from the golden age of serious hi-fi. They have never been unsealed or altered, except for removing my ss# from the back (visible in detail photo). I don’t know what the speaker cone surround material is; some versions were cloth. You may expect to need some alterations to the tweeters or crossover, as is common apparently. The midrange and treble adjustment pots are tight and scratchy to turn, but amazingly don’t create any noise! They do work, and process signals with full volume, but I haven’t tweaked the crossover relationship at all, and the sound is best described as space. I just noticed that one of the screw post attachment terminals is loose. The walnut cabinets are cosmetically good, but the backsides are visibly scratched.
