Cabinet is in rough shape and needs complete refinishing, but is still solid and air-tight so sound quality is not affected in the least. Front grille has been stained black. Speakers themselves are all in good working order and sound absolutely fantastic. Mid and Hi volume control potentiometers are pretty scratchy and flakey and will need to be cleaned or replaced. This speaker was used in the 1970’s as a monitor speaker for a travelling band, which is how the cabinet got so beat up. I was told that the speakers and crossover components were all replaced some time after that in the mid-80’s. I have no proof of that, but no reason to doubt it either.
