Pair Of Acoustic Research AR-3 Speakers Serial #’s 67123 & 67127. These speakers came from the estate of a Acoustic Research dealer. I hooked them up and they sound great. The sound quality you get from these speakers are amazing. These are the AR-3 not the 3a please see all the pics. The serial numbers are pretty close on this pair only a few numbers off. C 67123 & C 67127. He did have a note on the back of both of these speakers as you can see in the pictures. I left them taped to the back so you know exactly what it says. But I will tell you anyway in case you can’t zoom in on the picture. The notes say Oct. 2004 AR3 (black) installed new spkr. The black cabinets have some minor scratches here and there, also a couple dings in the wood in some places but overall they do not look bad. I like the look of the black ones. I’m not sure if that’s how they came or if he painted them black. Either way they look and sound great and that’s all that matters. These speakers are heavy, they weigh 45 lbs.
