The AR Classic Model 12 speakers are part of the Classic Series of speakers built in the early 1980s. The speakers use a symmetrical radiation array (SRA) with the tweeter flanked between the mid bass drivers. They are acoustic suspension for tight bass with 2 six inch die-cast mid bass drivers have rubber surrounds for long life. Tweeters used are 1 inch soft dome tweeters. These are rare speakers and sound amazing. The drivers in the speakers are original and in excellent condition with minimal use. They were in storage for many years which is why the speakers have marking on one side of each speaker. Unfortunately, they were rubbing against an amp that was sitting in between them. The grills are in excellent t physical condition however the cloth is coming off the top of one. No cracks or other issues with the covers. Brochure for speakers can be found at.
