Rare Acoustic Research AR Phantom 8.3 Speakers w/wall mounts. Acoustic Researchs Phantom 8.3 is a high-end, ultra-thin, three-way home theater speaker. It has a plasma hardened 1 titanium dome tweeter, a 2 MagAlloy mid-range speaker, and a 8 Illusion long throw, Carbon Series woofer. Perfect as front channel speakers in a surround sound system. Dimensions 28.5 X 12 X 3 deep (4 in center) About 14 1/2 lbs each. All drivers are in excellent condition. There are some minor scratches and dings here and there on the aluminum cabinets, but nothing that affects the overall appearance of these beautiful and EXTREMELY well-made speakers. The backs of the speakers have some minor scratches where the wall mounts attach, but, as you can see from the pics, nothing much, especially considering this is not visible when in normal use. One Speaker Gill is in excellent condition, the other has a small separation of the material from the composite base. (Can easily be reattached).
