The speakers speak for themselves, there are plenty of reviews and descriptions online for your research to attest to their superior sound quality. These dont come up for sale often, so look carefully at my pictures and read the description please. I completely rebuilt these speakers. I have Refoamed the 6 woofers (using the shim method by removing the dust cover) and I also RECAPPED these speakers. These older speakers benefit tremendously by recapping, so the correct frequencies are outputing from each driver. As they age, the original caps drift, and send too many frequencies to the drivers thus over driving them and not delivering the potential superior sound they had at the time of production. I used NPE caps, and the sound is smooth and there is absolutely NO harshness and the midrange clarity is superb. All Drivers operate perfectly. The cabinets are a solid 9 out of 10, just a slight rub mark on the bottom of one at the bottom where there is flat black paint. The Walnut veneer is in Great shape, no nicks nor anything that I can really see that is damaged. No water marks, just a few scratches if you look real close and are super critical. They are 38 years old. I have the grills, they have fabric, but they are worn and the fabric will need replacing for a perfect original look. I assure you the sound from these Classic speakers is outstanding and extremely detailed. The Low Frequencies are tremendous, and the midrange is extremely detailed and the highs are crisp and clean.
