I own all the. These are one of the finest set of three-way speakers Ive ever owned. Exceptional sound with no fatigue. Classical, jazz and rock music they play it all. I have upgraded the tweeters to an AR 58s type which just took them to the next level! This is the same tweeter used in the 91 and the famous AR9 flagship. Many people who have owned the 3a speakers commonly complain of a low output tweeters as well as susceptible to being blown as they dont handle the power. Thats just a distant memory now that Ive performed this upgrade. I also replaced both woofers with the newer production 12 woofer. Same time period as the AR9. Excellent woofer seal for that AR patent acoustic suspension. I have put high power amplifiers behind these speakers with breath taking results. Carver and Kenwood solid state amps to be exact. The potentiometers work pretty well with maybe a down spot here or there but function plenty good to enjoy. Capacitors are newer and easily swapped of you care to go the boutique route.
