These AR4X’s are in Real Nice Condition (All Drivers are original and Matched). Tweeter Controls (original) were disassembled, the contacts polished, the spring tension adjusted, and an-anti corrosion silicone applied, now perfect again. Crossover CAPS replaced (original 50 year old caps were out of tolerance) with Precision MIL Grade upgrade. Metalized Electrolytic 20 uF Audio Filter Capacitor Absurdly Low ESR (0.0026 O). They also are the ideal choice for a high-end audio project; specifically, the speaker’s filter/crossover network. Woofers were sealed with Vintage AR cloth surround sealer to ensure Acoustical Integrity of Cabinets and Speakers. Tweeters edges are rust free, paper cones edges are in super condition. Speakers have been thoroughly tested and sound fantastic. ORIGINAL Grills and Badges are in beautiful condition. There is a small tear below logo on one speakers, please see pictures. Cabinets are in extremely nice condition. THIS IS a Solid Original Collectible set of speakers.
