Excellent pair of Acoustic Research AR-3a speakers that are becoming more collectible as the AR3 prices skyrocket out of sight (I have a pair of AR3’s I’ll be listing in a couple of weeks). These AR-3a speakers feature. Beautiful cabinets – see photos. All original speakers, except for the surrounds on the woofers. Potentiometers work, some drop-out/scratchiness evident, as is expected with 50+ yr old speakers. You could remove and clean the pots, but I chose to leave as is for new owner. The are very serviceable controls as is. Labels on the back of both speakers, with close serial numbers: 41887 & 41934. Thorens, pioneer, mcintosh,, marantz, bose, jbl, turntable, sansui, yamaha.
