Really clean set and in Fabulous Condition. Extremely Nice Looking Speaker Cabinets and Sound Quality! Matched Set of speakers and crossover components. These have been fully serviced and upgraded and are ready to play. All Drivers are original and Matched. New MIL Grade Audio Caps installed, originals were out of tolerance. They each measured 12Uf+. Spec calls for 6Uf. Woofers were sealed with Vintage AR cloth surround sealer to ensure Acoustical Integrity of Cabinets and Speakers. Tweeters are never a problem, they are solid and sounding as they should. This is modern production wirewound potentiometer. An exact copy of the original pot (in terms of values 16Ohm / 25 Watt), but much better in terms of reliability and quality. The pot has a enlarged ceramic body that houses the coil and allows much better heat dissipation. Large surface and material allows the heat to dissipate much better, compared to the original pots. Also the coil and the wiper remain hidden from the sulfur emissions. Speakers have been thoroughly tested and sound fantastic. Grills and Badges are in near perfect condition I chose to use new black one cause they look so cool! Engraved RED Badges, RARE in itself. Cabinets are in Great condition for their 50+ year age, Few minor scratches and nicks are visible, please see pictures. Great shape for something that was made in 1965!
