It was discovered that one of the mid-range speakers was shot, but they just happened to have an original one on the shelf, I couldn’t believe it. Also, one of the “3’s” was missing, and they had that too, amazing! I was told that these AR’s are in the best condition in terms of exterior condition that they have ever seen, and they now function acoustically superbly as well. The grill cloth is excellent considering the age, and the walnut literally does not have a scratch (well maybe one, but I didn’t see it) on it, and although the pictures may suggest otherwise, they have not been refinished. Some of the original paperwork is included with these iconic survivors! You will look long and hard to find a nicer pair!
