Amazing sounding refurbished Acoustic Research AR8S bookshelf speakers. This model is the smaller version of the much sought after AR18S, using the same drivers in a smaller cabinet, and have a similar punchy, dynamic sound. The original drivers have refurbished with new foam surrounds. The old electrolytic capacitors replaced with high performance polypropylene film types for greater clarity and detail in the high frequencies. The grille cloth has been secured to the frame with staples, as this often comes away.
