Rebuilt Acoustic Research AR-2x vintage speakers. Beautiful rich oiled walnut cabinets. Famous 10 acoustic suspension woofers and small cone tweeters with level controls cover the entire audio spectrum. If you like the smaller AR4x model, you will love the deeper, more powerful bass from the larger 2x. These are recently restored AR-2x speakers. The woofers have been re-foamed. The crossovers have been totally rebuilt; New wiring, new audiophile quality caps and rheostats. They are far superior to the originals and will not corrode, like originals. The sound is excellent and the look is incredible. Only flaw is a 1/8 gap at the bottom edge of one unit. Cabinets are in superb condition for being over 50 years old, see photos.
