A rare opportunity to have a fully restored pair of classic AR speakers. As we have come to know, the original tweeters do not hold up over time, and through years of development, I have perfected the art of rebuilding them. Nothing else sounds like them. The dampening material is replaced under the dome because the original form of dampening material degrades, similar to how the woofer foam surround deteriorates. It is then resuspended using The same external suspension and dampening materials as AR employed. The results are fully restored output and sound character to these tweeters, and the ability to claim a fully restored pair of classic AR speakers. Rebuilding the tweeters is often overlooked. I have three pairs available, one of each generation. From the very crude looking early ones, to the refined looking Front wired, to the latest rear wired versions. Rear wired versions can be adapted to front wired, which if specified, I will convert as requested at no charge.
