Vintage Acoustic Research AR-1 Speaker – Western Electric – Altec- 755A -1950’s. This rare vintage original AR-1 speaker came from the estate of a acoustic research dealer. I also have a couple pairs of AR-3’s that I will be listing soon. They also came from the same estate. I hooked this one up and it sounds great. The serial number is 8682. The cabinet has some scratches and dings here and there but I guess you’ll have that with a speaker this old. Please see all the pictures for all angles of the cabinet. I can’t open it to get pics of the inside as it’s still sealed everywhere like the day it was made. That’s how I know it’s all original because nobody has ever been inside this cabinet.
