A fantastic example of the Acoustic Research AR-3a. These were bought from a Yale professor who had them for decades. They were checked out and cleaned, and pots were restored, by a local tech. The woofers were sent to Miller Sound (I believe Bill Legall worked on them) in PA for a full refoam/recone. These speakers sound amazing. Please see pics for all the details. The pots on the back actually work and don’t sound scratchy. They help tweak the sound for the room. The cabinets are oiled walnut with ORIGINAL grilles. The cabinets are in great shape, look at the corners on the top, no crushed corners. The speaker stands are also in great shape.
